About epitomē

epitomē is a semantic search engine for ancient text. This means you can search for themes and concepts across multiple languages.

If a text is missing a translation we use the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model to translate - note this should not be relied upon in anyway and serves only as a starting point for further research! For text embedding we use OpenAI's text-embedding-3-large model.
